تكفون اذا ماكانت معروفه خبروني عشان اغير الولايه - انا كمان جاني قبول في جامعة في نفس المدينة Northern Illinois University7 "
مااقول الا الله يستر !! - شوفوا يا حلوين انا طالب دراسات عليا وجاني قبول في معهد ELS في البداية في ميسوري7 "
لكن غيرت الولاية لين دي المدينه وانا اشوف انها افضل من شيكاغو من ناحية السكن
اول شي حسب اللي اعرفوا عن ولاية الينوي بصفة عامه انها بارده في الشتاء ودافي في الصيف
والمعيشه فيها رخيصه والناس اللي فيها متعاونين
ودا الكلام من احد من الشباب اللي بيدرس في مدينه تشامبينغ اللي تبعد عن ديكالب حوالي ساعتين
يعني برضو في الشمال
واذا على المتعه عندكم شيكاغو قريبة فيها اماكن ممكن تروحوا صدوركم فيها
المشكلة الوحيده هيا المعهد اللي يعتبر ماهو بذيك القوه
لكن اللي طالع للدراسه يشد حيلوا واكيد بيوصل للي يبغاه
اهم شي اطمنوا ان شاء الله كل شي بيكون بخير
وياريت المبتعثين اللي طالعين لديكالب يعملوا تجمع عشان نعرف راسنا من ساسنا
وخاصة انو المدينه تعتبر صغيرة - 7 "Hello everyone.
I posted a question before about Dekalb but I got no responses
, but here I am now helping you out by answering your questions. 
Dekalb is a very small town. It's a university town if you know what I mean. It's empty on holidays! It depends on your type of personality, if you like a big crowded fun city or you want a small town for studying, so I think it is good for graduate students: MA & PhD students. Maybe others too, I'm not sure but I personally like it.
I want to warn you about the crazy snow in the winter, don't even think about it if you hate the snow. Sales tax in Illinois is 8%, so it's a little bit expensive. On electronics, maybe more tax rates.
There's no ELS center in the city right now, but I heard that it will start next summer or Fall 2010. The only one available is the ESL Center at NIU which is one room and a student may have one appointment per week for one hour conversation. That is it! But, you never know maybe it's a different center in the Fall.
It's a boring city so don't expect a lot. You can still drive to Chicago since it's an hour away. If you have other questions, I'll be happy to answer whenever I'm free. Take Care

As I told you, we are in the world of business today! There’s no actual center with classes now (even the phone number is not in service yet) but they’re accepting new students for next fall and opening in September 2010. As for the stay, I’m not sure if you can live with a family here, but you may. You may ask around if that’s available and when I know anything about that, I’ll let you know. Other options, you can take free English classes in a community college here. Or, you may enroll in the conversation program in the ESL center at NIU.
People are friendly here, of course. It’s an interesting mixture of white people, African Americans, Mexicans and other diverse races too. And no matter where you are (not only here in the US), if you give respect, you take respect! Plus, there’s a good Muslim community here too.
One last thing people usually mix and get confused about is that the ELS and ESL are the same. No, they are DIFFERENT! The ESL Center (English as a Second Language) is part of the English Language Department at NIU. But, the ELS is the one you got accepted in as a language center. جاني قبول معهد ELS في مدينة ديكلب
عملت سيرش عنها مافي اي خبر ولا مبتدأ ,,, ياليت اذا احد سمع فيها او يعرف عنها اي شيء
يفيدني مو حلو ان الواحد يروح مكان مجهول مايعرف عنه شيء , ومشكوريييييين مقدماً
