4. Where can I submit my application or request for a visa label?
On-line using the Internet: If you are a national of the UAE, Bahrain,
Kuwait, Oman or Qatar, you can lodge applications for tourist visas online.
For further information and online application form for a tourist visa,
please see http://www.immi.gov.au/e_visa/visitors.htm.
At a Visa Application Counter is any Gulf country: The Australian
Department of Immigration and Citizenship in partnership with VFS (GCC) LLC
provide visa application and courier services to clients located in Gulf
Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
In addition to the Visa Application Charge, applicants can pay a service
fee and submit an application, or passport, or visa grant approval letter,
to any Australian Visa Application Counter in the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait,
Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia that will then be assessed and decided by the
Department of Immigration and Citizenship.
Special arrangements apply for applicants located in Yemen.

5. I am transiting or visiting a Gulf country: where can I apply for a
visa or obtain my visa evidence?
If you are not a resident of the GCC or Yemen, and you are transiting or
visiting the GCC or Yemen, then you can submit a visa application for
Australia via the methods described above. However, in general your
application will be transferred to the overseas Australian mission
responsible for the country in which you are usually resident. It can take
several weeks for cases to be transferred.
In some circumstances this office may be able to evidence a visa granted by
another overseas Australian mission or an office of the Department of
Immigration Citizenship in Australia. You can submit your passport for
visa evidencing via the methods described above
Please note, whilst every effort will be made to ensure your visa is
evidenced as quickly as possible, we cannot guarantee this service can be
provided the same day or during your period of transit/visit in the GCC or
Yemen. In some circumstances, it can take an extended period of time to
finalise the case. This office is not responsible for you meeting the
entry and stay requirements in the Gulf or for any additional cost you may
bear in travelling to, entering and remaining in the Gulf.

6. How much does a visa application cost?

The fee is a charge for making the application and applies irrespective of
the outcome of the visa.
7. Cheque payments, courier and postal address
Demand bank drafts drawn on a UAE bank should be made out to:

8. Have we received your E-mail/Fax/Application?

Application: We aim to acknowledge all ‘paper’ visa applications for
permanent migration within seven working days of receipt. You will receive
a receipt for lodgement from an Australian Visa Application Centre or the
Australia Consulate-General should you lodge an application in person.
Fax: We are unable to respond individually to every fax received. Your
fax confirmation report should indicate successful transmission.
9. What is my application status?
While we endeavour to process all cases in a timely manner, processing
times for applications can vary and are attributable to a number of
different factors including general processing procedures, case specific
issues that arise during processing, staffing levels and bona fides
concerns.
As such, there can be no guarantees in relation to visa processing times
and accordingly, we are unable to advise applicants of a decision date or
to provide progress reports within usual processing periods outlined above.
Applicants will be notified once a decision has been made, or should
further documentation be required. Applicants should not make final travel
arrangements until they receive written advice from our office that their
visa has been granted.
If you have applied for or think you hold an Electronic Travel Authority
(ETA):
You can check the progress of your ETA application or validity of a current

If you have applied for a Electronic Tourist visa (an e676):
You can check the progress of your e676 (Tourist) visa application at the

details as required. Once you have entered your details on the "Check the
progress of an application" weblink, you can you can use the "Contact the
Department" link on this page, if you need to contact the office in
Australia where your application is being processed, or if you have been
instructed to provide additional information or need to tell the department
about a change in your personal circumstances.
10. I need to undertake a medical examination, where do I go?
If you are required to undergo a medical examination or x-ray, you will
need to visit an Australian appointed panel doctor. These doctors have all
the necessary forms to complete and submit in support of your application.

11. I’m an Australian and have had a baby, how do I register my child for
Citizenship by Descent?
If you are an Australia citizen or permanent resident and have had a baby
overseas, you will need to register your child and obtain an Extract of
Citizenship by Descent certificate in order to apply for an Australian
passport.
We require the following:
Signed application Form 118. Forms available online at
http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/appl...forms_num2.htm
Payment of fee (http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/990i/citizenship.htm)
Evidence that the child is the natural child of an Australian citizen
by way of child’s full birth certificate, issued by the authorities of the
country in which the child was born, showing details of both parents
(translated into English where required)
Evidence of Australian citizenship of at least one parent by way of
one of the following: Australian birth certificate (for parents born before
20/8/86), or certificate of Australian citizenship (grant or declaratory),
or unrestricted Australian passport issued after 22/11/84
Evidence of change of name (if appropriate, eg. marriage certificate,
deed poll)
There are three ways to lodge a Citizenship by Descent application:
In person, by appointment only, at the Australian Consulate-General
in Dubai (call +971 4 355 1958 to make an appointment)
By mail or courier (see question 5 for information on payment and
mail/courier address)
Through the Visa Application Centre (see question 5 for details)

12. I want to move/migrate to Australia
Australia's permanent immigration program has two components:
Migration – for Skilled, Family and Special Eligibility migrants
Humanitarian – for refugees and others with humanitarian needs.
If you are planning to, or have married an Australian, Family migration
applications can be lodged as per above (see question 5).
The 'Skilled' Program is specifically designed to target migrants who have
skills or outstanding abilities that will contribute to the Australian

15. I’ve been granted a permanent entry visa to Australia and am unable to
meet the required entry date.
If you are unable to make your initial entry by the date specified, your
visa is liable for cancellation. You should submit a case outlining your
circumstances for consideration of why the visa should not be cancelled.
16. I would like to apply for Australian Citizenship
Most people seeking to apply for Australian citizenship by grant must now
have first sat and passed a Citizenship Test before lodging and paying for
the application. You may wish to check the Australian Government
citizenship website at: http://www.citizenship.gov.au/, for further
information about the Citizenship Test. If you wish to make an appointment
to sit the Test or to lodge and pay for a citizenship application, then
please provide your name, date of birth, passport number, permanent
residence visa number and telephone/e-mail contact details. Once you have
provided these details an immigration officer will contact you to discuss
the requirements.
17. This email does not answer my question, what do I do?
If the answer to your enquiry is not answered above or available on our
website www.immi.gov.au, we will respond as soon as we are able.
18. How long will it take to process my visa?
Processing times commence from the arrival of complete documentation
at the visa processing office. Please allow a minimum of two additional
working days for applications and passports submitted by mail or courier.
Not all applications are processed in Riyadh. Depending on how you
applied for your visa and what type of visa you applied for, your
application may be processed in Dubai, at another overseas Australian
mission or in Australia.
The times below are indicative only. Individual cases may be decided
in longer or shorter periods than the service standard, depending on a
range of factors, individual circumstances and the complexity of each case.
The times below apply to visa applications lodged with complete
documentation. You can expect your application to take longer than the time
service standard if it was lodged without all the required documentation.
Processing times vary by location, reflecting the differing
circumstances of national and regional caseloads.

بصراحة يا (همي كبير)الرسالة طويله وانا عندي شوي انقليزي اللي فهمته في البداية يشكرك على التقديم للفيزا الاسترالية وذكروهذا رد للسؤال اللي سألتيه و انه اذا احتاجو اي متطلبات بيتصلون عليك. مع العلم انه لم يذكرون شيء عن الفيزا حقتك
طبعا النقاط والارقام اللي في الاسفل تتكلم عن معظم الاسئلة الشائعة اللي الناس يسئلوا السفاره مع الاجابات عليها

ناس تم لهم شهرين وانت تتكلم في الشهر ..
الامور صارت معقدة، يا ليتهم ما رفعونا لمستوى 1 ..
كانوا الشباب بالكثير ثلاثة اسابيع أو ان طالت شهر .. - (همي كبير) هذي رسالة رد الكتروني تجي كل من يراسل مركز التاشيرات الاسترالية بدبي7 "
وهذا الرد يتم بطريقة الية (يعني ما احد اطلع على الرسالة المرسلة من قبلكم)
التكرار عليهم اكثر يجعلهم يردوا عليك باسمك شخصياً كما حصل معي وابلغومي في الرسالة
ان معاملتي تحت العملية النشطة لديهم وستصدر في القريب العاجل
رغم ان فيه واحدة من مركز التاشيرات الاسترالية في دبي اتصلت عليه في 9-9-2008
بعد ماقدمت الفيزا باسبوع تقريباً وسأ لتني تقريباً حوالي خمس اسئلة اواكثر وعندما سألتها متى
اقدر استلم الفيزا قالتلي اسبوعين بالكثير طبعاً المحادثة كانت باللغة الانجليزية
وقمت بسؤال الشباب في استراليا عن الاسئلة اللي سأ لتني الاخت قالولي عايدي وبالعكس اللي
يتصلون علية فيزته ماتطول كثير بعد الاتصال وتصدر والى الان يجيب الله مطر
بس ما ادري يا أخوان هل احد صار معه واتصلوا عليه مثلي - الأخت / همي كبير :7 "
الرد اللي جاك اتوماتيكي..ومامنه أي فائدة بس ممكن تكرري عليهم أو تراسلي الأخت قمر ( بس مجازة إلى 11/10/2008م ) أو الآخت ديما ولعل وعسى .... وإيميلاتهن موجودة بهدا الموضوع ( بإمكانك تقدّين ريوس وتشوفينها )!!

أنا مقدّم من 7-9-2008م وإلى الآن لا حس ولا خبر ولا اتصال.. لكن اليوم كلمت مكتبIGEC اللي أنا مقدم الفيزا منه قالوا لي جينا من الاجازة لقينا فيز المقدمين في شهر 8 وصلت لكن أنتم يا أهل شهر 9 لسه........... الله يعين..
الأخ/ hunter-as الغامدي.. أنا دراستي في 13-10-2008 م ولا جاتني الفيزا وشوفني منتظر.
لكن أنت وش مستعجل عليه........... باقي لك أكثر من شهر ؛ وبعدين حتى لو جاك موعد الدراسة وما تمكنت من السفر ....... تأجّل دراستك إلى أجل مسمى ..... يعني ما عليك.
