Needs to reduce homesick
Compulsory needs
1- Sojada.
2- Compass.
3- Download Azan programme in my mobile or buy an azan watch.
4- Zipper Quran.
Optional needs:
5- A small perfume.
6- Pens and papers.
7- Emergency money:
A) Must have cash at least $ 50.
B) Must divide the cash: some inside the bag, most in my pocket.
8- Always pay attention when carrying your bag.
9- Where ever you go, you must have at least two copies of your ID.
10- Learn some basics of self-defence.
11- Must have emergency numbers:
A) Put them in a list on the wall beside the homophone.
B) Sit them in your mobile for the speed call.
12- The ability to think fast.
Where to ask for help?
1- Student's services. ( available in all universities).
2- The Saudi embassy in the same area.
What to ask for ?
1- An Islamic organization in your area.
2- A flat to live in. Please note that you ask about the following important points during searching for a flat:
A) The neighborhood if they are good or not.
B) The crime rate in that area. To know the approximate percentage of crime rates, do the following:
· Read news papers published in that town.
· Search in Yahoo, write a city's name in searching blank for crimes.
· Contact the police there and ask about the number and type of crimes committed. In case they do not help you, contact with your embassy.
Important notes for your safety:
1- Never write your first name in the airmail, instead, just put the first letter of your first name then your last name. For example:
" Ahmad Mohammed Saleh " = " A. Mohammed or A. Saleh."
2- Never give your passwords or your social number to anyone.
