I am pleased to inform you that you have been accepted as a student in the Pre-Medical programme of
the University of Groningen. This programme starts in the spring of 2009.
The Pre-Medical programme is designed to fully prepare you for enrollment into the Medical
programme of the University of Groningen. During the Pre-Medical programme, you have to
pass several tests (exams) to fulfill the criteria for admission. These criteria include proficiency in
English language (IELTS 6.5 or higher), knowledge of Life Sciences, academic skills and basic knowledge
of the Dutch language.
Only those students, who complete the Pre-Medical programme successfully will be admitted to the
study of Medicine.
