Hi everyone
In this thread, I will periodically (on a weekly basis or so) introduce you to some websites, tools and applications that can amazingly be used to improve learning any subject matter like math, language, geography, science, history, etc. They key word here is TECHNOLOGY! It’s the next big thing in education and we need to make the best out of it. I don’t want to list a thousand sites here and get done with it, but rather review and present you with the ones that are newly creative, amazing and very useful. So it’s not about how fascinating technology has become, it’s about what we do with it! So let's start
(1) www.VisualThesaurus.com Our first website for today is an amazing cloud-networking site for learning vocabulary. It is very helpful especially if you are a VISUAL learner and that you learn the most through vision (what you see). First, type in any word and then a cloud of words would pop up to display its meaning(s). You can also listen to the pronunciation of the word. You can have a free trial and then if you like it, you may subscribe too. After all, what matters the most is the whole idea of creativity in learning vocabulary Hope you like the site and stay tuned for the next one.
