  2. The cost of studying in the United States varies widely among universities, and the cost of living varies from location to location. The chart below shows average costs students can expect to find at various universities. Actual tuition costs at selective institutions may be as high as $25,000 - $30,000 per year.

    Average Yearly Costs
Private Institutions (High Cost) $ 19,000
Private Institutions (Low Cost) $ 12,000
State Institutions (High Cost) $ 13,000
State Institutions (Low Cost) $ 6,000

Another breakdown of costs (based on data from the College Board) shows:
    :Tuition and fees
    $1,738 Two-Year Public
    $7,953 Two-Year Private

    Four-Year Public $3,754
    Four-Year Private $17,123

    Room and board:

    $4,736 Two-Year Private
    Four-Year Public $5,254
    Four-Year Private $6,455

In addition to the tuition, room and board, take into consideration the following annual expenses you will face in the US:

    Books and supplies $ 500 - $ 1,000
    Health insurance $ 400 - $ 600
    Personal expenses $ 1,200 - $ 3,000
Tuition fees at private universities will usually be double the cost of state universities. Tuition at two-year colleges will generally be substantially less than a state university.

    اتمنى لكم التوفيق
